Resort Cottage Sales Specialist

We are looking for a Resort Cottage Sales Specialist with experience in the resort space to lead sales activity for vacation cottages at our outdoor resorts. This individual will drive business to the community through extensive networking, relationship building and utilization of market data analytics.

  • Location: Island Oaks, 9664 Nursery Rd Blvd, Glen St Mary, FL 
  • Position type: Full Time. This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends and some holidays. 

What we are looking for in a Resort Cottage Sales Specialist:

  • Real estate experience preferred
  • Resort/hospitality experience preferred 
  • 2+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Action oriented with the drive to push sales to successful closure 
  • Ability to connect with people, develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Basic computer proficiency skills 
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation because driving within a community and to other communities is an essential function of this position

What you will do as a Resort Cottage Sales Specialist:

  • Train on policies and procedures through self-led exercises, instructor-led training and shadowing of experienced new home sales associates.
  • Develop relationships with customers. 
  • Understand the customer experience touchpoints to maintain quality customer service and lead buyers throughout the new home sales process.
  • Complete accurate and timely contract paperwork. 
  • Obtain and analyze market data so our communities remain competitive. 
  • Maintain standard sales office hours but understanding flexibility to meet customer schedules is a priority. 
  • Successfully achieve monthly and annual sales goals assigned by the company.
