About this opportunity: 

  • Location: Dream Ozarks Outdoor Resort, 200 Ozark Outdoor Lane, Leasburg, MO 65535
  • Compensation: $17.00 -$20.00 Hourly
  • Position type: PartTime/Full-time
    • This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends. 

What we are looking for in a Grill Cook :

  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Prior experience or a strong desire to work in a high-volume kitchen
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail
  • Team player mentality, able to follow procedures and take directions
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Rapid movement and coordination for handling multiple orders
  • Exposure to variable temperatures

What you will do as a Grill Cook:

  • Follow supervisor's assignments for food production, preparing food and beverage products for guests by adhering to recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and following sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in food ordering and review inventory
  • Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, while keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Work collaboratively with team members and management
  • Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures
  • Assist in dishwashing and other kitchen duties, as needed
  • experience.
