What you will do as a Grounds Technician:
- Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Monitor and care for plants, flowers, and shrubs to ensure a vibrant and inviting landscape.
- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor facilities and amenities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Assist with special projects, such as landscaping enhancements and seasonal decorations.
- Collaborate with other resort staff to ensure a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the Aerial Park elements, including zip lines, rope courses, and climbing structures.
- Perform safety checks and ensure all equipment meets industry standards.
- Instruct and assist guests in the proper use of Aerial Park equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Respond promptly to any technical issues or emergencies within the Aerial Park.
- Collaborate with other resort staff to coordinate Aerial Park activities and events.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive and memorable experience for guests.
What we are looking for in a Grounds Technician with Dream Outdoors:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in Aerial Park operations or a similar adventure-based environment is preferred.
- Certification in Aerial Park safety and operations is a plus (will provide, if the candidate doesn’t already have this certification)
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
